Life is but a fickle thing, unless you have a bond that can’t be broken.
For local MMA pioneer Melchor Manibusan, his bond with Japanese superstar Norifumi ‘Kid’ Yamamoto was unbreakable. Like a nuptial, it was a relationship up to death did they part.
Kid Yamamoto had cancer for two years, but this past January his gastric cancer got progressively worse.
It was in May when he decided to move to Guam in hopes of finding organic ways of fighting the disease after a bad experience with chemotherapy in Japan.
With his parents, wife Yui and two kids by his side, Yamamoto flew to Guam under the public radar later that month.
